Default Stock for mdl7

I have one of the Boyds Classic walnut stocks that I ordered in a 14.25 LOP. If I remember correctly I believe it was around 170 all in which isn't bad. I'll take some pics of it.

Thumbs up

H&S on mine and I like it alot. Rides the bags very well with a beveled out, mostly flat fore end.

Default Boyds

Here's the one I bought for my 6mm-223Rem. It's their Classic model and I used the Walnut option and a LOP of 14.25. It was around 170.00 shipped which is pretty good for a finished stock that you can spec out, especially with the longer LOP. By the time I paid shipping both ways I would have almost that much into just having my wood turned. This was the Magnum channel, my barrel is a Pacnor #4. The scalloped forearm and recoil lug are nice touches. The wood is just good straight grained walnut.

Just scored a B&C lightly used for $125 at a local shop. It and a lb of powder was all I could afford. The shop is Hendershots in Hagerstown, MD. Boy do they have some nice rifles in stock. Mostly big bore. Cooper, Dakota, Merkle, customs, cheytac. I fell in love with a big bore double rifle I could't touch behind locked glass. If you have to ask...you can't afford it.
