My son in law has the same rifle and he has great luck with imr4895 and the 39gr,sierra's

My 700 SPS shoots well with the 39 BK and H4895 and 8208XBR. The 40 VMAX only shoot about 1 - 1.5" at 100yds. I measured the twist and it is right at 1 in 12.
