Default CZ 527 stocks are back

Long story short, couldn't find a heavy wood stock that I liked for a CZ 527 HB custom. Always admired a pattern that Ray Hauver had and when he said he was headed up to his stock guy to get some wood turned I asked if I could borrow his pattern to get a few stocks cut. He graciously allowed me to "tag" along on his pattern. I sent up 3 blanks, 2 Claro Walnut and a Spalted Maple and here they are. Mark Wieder did a great job on these, think I'll start with the one on the right. Now I'm on the prowl for a couple 527 donor actions.

Chuck I've been wondering if you had got them. I seen that blank at Mark, nice piece of wood. Makes me want to throw rocks at my laminates.

They are a lot of work. I depends on how much you want to change. The last one I did weighed 3 & 1/2 lb and when it was done ,I had it down to 2 & 1/4.

Default Nice Racks!

Hey Kenny,

Those are a couple of good looking sets of antlers. I didn't want you to think that nobody noticed them!

Nice stocks too.

Gary
