Default Velocity and expand bullets.

Getting them to reliably expand at 1000 fps and still withstand 3800 fps or greater is a huge challenge, but easily possible. Nosler 40gr Solid Base hornet bullet does tolerate the velocity, though it doesn't expand at 1000. It takes about 1500 fps to expand.

If you can get them to expand like this at 1000 fps, then you'll have a line out the door or a full email inbox.

Default Bullets

Been dealing with Ron for quite awhile now and one thing is for sure and thats the quality of the product he puts out. Everything is spot on and a great guy to deal with. I have always been more than happy with anything I have bought from him. A real stand up guy.

17tbs: When are you going to start producing these "easily possible" bullets? With your obvious knowledge and expertise you'll be rich.....!!!!

I had two discs replaced in my neck 2 weeks ago; so it depends on how quickly I can heal and when I can get out to test them. The bullets themselves, proto-types, are done. I have them in various weights from 14-20g in various lengths and jacket thickness. It comes down to how they shoot.

Not making bullets There is very, very little margin of profit in bullets, more a labor of love because I want them, and others support my habit by using them too.

I understand fully. I was just amused at the '"easily possible" comment about making a bullet that matched everyone's needs. It's kin to the search for the Holy Grail...............

Don't rush it too much, I had this two years ago in March and the first couple of months are critical in the recovery.

Based on the past 2 weeks I'm completely sold on the procedure. Up and walking a few hours after the surgery, and healing very well and very fast.
No complaints at all (expect for the collar of shame).

I just realized that question was not directed at me.
