I got a PM about a virus here
LadyROOT sent me this PM and I'm wondering if it is legit.
"A virus alert was noticed on your computer. We highly recommend you to check your computer and perform online virus check at our site immediately:-----------------" Thanks, Joe |

I'm guessing...
I think LADYroot IS the virus and if you click on the 'fix' you GET IT.
I got that post, too. DELETED it QUICKLY. |

I believe LadyROOT IS the virus!
We got it also. LadyROOT is logged in as a guest. And if you read the message carefully there are several mistakes and language problems. Being the good person I am I went to the recommended site. Site seemed legit, but then I couldn't get out of it. Spent the whole day trying to get rid of the Trojans!!!

I just got this computer up and online last night from a virus I got here. I clicked on that outdoorlife link about 200 best places to live and quickly lost this computer. Spent 3 days total but take the blame on this one because I let my updates slide about 6 days. Only good thing is with a clean install it is running a bit faster now. I save all of my important things on a regular bases so this was a major plus.
