OT: Trail camera
Looking for a unobtrusive trail camera with IR flash for indoor use.
Any cameras you liked or didn't? |

I have a Spy Point model that is IR and it works fine. Not sure exactly what you want for an indoor camera, but I should mention the IR does show a light red glow when tripped, so that may interfere with your purpose.
Other wise it works great for me, on outdoor, day and night recording and then I move/transfer the photos I want to save to my PC off the SB card. The model I have works with batteries and they hold up very well, unless temps drop below freezing, then shorter life. Last edited by Bill K; 11-17-2022 at 09:35 PM. |

I have become a Browning fan after going through a few other brands. Have found their CS to be excellent comparatively. I have one that is not connected to my cell phone that has been rock solid for several years and two of the cell connected cameras that give me a lot of fairly current info. One thing I would strongly recommend with ant camera that is mounted outdoors is to put a rain shield over it. I make mine from 5 gal plastic lube pails that I clean up then split in half. You can rough the surface and paint them with a camo pattern if you want them sorta hidden.

Didn't know there were cameras which can connect via a cell tower; there's one a block away. Will check out those soon. These will be from the operating fund. Xmas Fund will go to Douglas.
