Unfortunately, wind and terrain were completely messed up to get these called in and shot at!

Default Dave,Thank you

I should have added in my earlier post how happy I am that you shared these stills, they are incredible and super rare.It is always great to see what you bring to this site.We all know we can’t kill every coyote we see
Kinda reminds me of a cold snowy day in Colorado when I got busted by a lone coyote about 900 yards away, thought I was done for the day and leaving. All I could do was sit and watch him and wish I had the 6/284 that day.The neat thing I remember is seeing him yap at me and then hearing it about a second later

Is that not the truth. All of us love photos and stories, as you know and Dave's are always top notch.

Dave, are you still planning on posting the video somewhere? To see it all happen in video form would be pretty interesting for sure.

Very interesting interaction and probably a huge learning experience the pup is having.

DIL saw a healthy yote a mile south of us during the daylight today which is rare. I always hear them at night doing what sounds like either going after or doing the same with what they caught. Sadly I haven't seen my Jackrabbit that's survived these critters.

My problem is, being mostly vineyards there aren't many places to call and see them coming in so I don't try my foxpro at home. You are getting me closer to going up to the family dairy ( 3rd cousin-ish) and run the call before the corn is up......

Thanks again for sharing, and yes the video would be cool as well.

Allen

I'll get the video up for sure, but not sure how long it will be before I do. I'd like to get out and get some good regular hunting footage to go with it. That might take a few more weeks before I'm able to get that done.
