I have a question. Jack rabbits are faster than a coyote in a straight line, do they lose much of their acrobatics on the snow? Do they lose much speed?
I would also love to see the chase! |

Everything loses some speed and agility in snow. The snow was only an inch or two deep though and I don't think it was slowing down either animal much if any. The rabbit reached straight line top speed and the coyote actually over took him with straight line speed.

Doubt there's any briar patch out there in the wide open so ole Brer Rabbit didn't really have a snowballs chance in he11.

In the long haul the coyote has the advantage, larger lung capacity and endurance, they will win the race more often than the jack will. Just the way nature operates.
