Might want to try Win.748 if you have any on hand. Have a varmint barrel and sporter barrel and both, along with several others I have talked into trying it, has shot the 39SBK and max load in Hornady book for 40 gr. as their best loads. 39SBK has shot best in all friends rifles. weewilly

Default H322 works great...

Surprised that more .204 shooters aren't using H322, which is an "Extreme" powder, and shoots in the .2's in my Pac-Nor barreled Rem 700. Others have found this out, as well as H335.

Thumbs up

Believe it or not, I've had great results with BL-C(2).

Shot from a Savage 12FV.

Default BLC2 too...

BLC2 was the powder I started with in my .204 (24" Pac-Nor Rem varmint contour w/12 twist, shooting 39 SBK's), and it worked great for me also! But I wanted an Extreme powder so I tried the H322 and it worked just as well, gaining a little more velocity while retaining the accuracy in the .2's.

Noticed that Cooper's published pwder for their .204's is also H322.
