Default Over the counter reloading supplies, OKC

Spending the winter in the Oklahoma City Area(Edmond). Any recommendations for good place to buy reloading supplies...powder, primers.

Default Welcome to OK

Try H&H at I-40 and Meridian and maybe Bass Pro for "mainstream" stuff. Gene Sears just west in El Reno. Jerry's in Tulsa. Several smaller places tucked around. Not sure about reloading supplies but some gun related day trips of interest are near by in Stillwater, Chandler (66 Pawn and Pro Shop), Claremore (Bill's), Pauls Valley (Discount), Duncan (Murph's) and Shawnee (Dark Ops). Maybe Mr Reed or DAVID will chime in as well.

Mulepasture covered most of the places, might look into Big Boys over near Mustang. I found more than my fair share of small rifle primers there not to long back. 66 Pawn is a place to go if you want to talk to caring people. I cant say anything bad about others, others just seemed more interested in their stuff than to share knowledge. There is one in Yukon that hasn't been there long but what I have heard is good, Henry's Guns. And there is a place in Edmond (Danforth & Kelly) has new owners since I was last there, but in the past I found powder (good selection) and other goodies.

Default Mashburn Arms

Those were the days…Used to be a regular lunch hour stop…alternated through the years with Southwest Shooters and Fred Baker Firearms but a gun lunch at least a couple of days a week…
Back to places that are still in business, another short drive from Edmond is Mustang Gun and Pawn on 152 in Mustang. Davenports in Prague is kind of an adventure as well…more for gun finds than reloading equipment/supplies….

I used to go to Gene Sears for all my scopes, and bought lots of reloading supplies as well. Last spring I called out there and asked about a particular powder (Reloder 17?) and the guy checked his computer and told me they had some...I told him I was a half hour away and asked if he would hold a pound for me. He said sure and then put me on hold while he actually walked into the back to check the stock on hand. When I got there thirty minutes later, not only did they not have any Reloder 17, no one would even admit talking to me on the phone. Not honoring the commitment to hold the powder for a customer of twenty years was kind of bad, but lying about talking to me was inexcusable.

Outdoor America went downhill after Fred Baker died, as well.
