Smile 20 VT brass

High Plains Brass, Downs Il. is currently forming 20 VT brass out of L.C. 223 brass. They need all the normal machine work but they worked well for me. I think the price is $35 per 100. Check their web site. Also .17 Rem. .221 FB as well. Dave

I have just barreled a new 20 Vartarg with a Hart 11 Twist # 4 contour stainless tube on a Rem 700. Rifle is shooting three different bullets under 3/8 and most under 1/4. 20 Vartargs are just so easy to make shoot tiny bug hole groups. I now have 3 different 20 Vartargs. I will always have one around my place.

I may try them sometime. So far it has liked the 32 Sierra, 32 V-Max, 35 Bergers the best with H4198 or RL-7

Just noticed your post today. Yep, I am pretty slow.... Anyway, glad to hear the brass is working in two of the rifles. Is there a problem with this brass in the third rifle or did you choose to else something else for other reasons? Just curious, is all.

Ramos your brass is working very well and the third Vartarg I have not shot in some time and have yet to use your brass in it. I know it would work well in it as well. All of my 20 Vartargs I have chambered with the same PTG reamer

Sounds good. Just wanted to make sure that the brass was behaving as it should.
