Default mounting options for torches onto scopes

Hi
I am trying to find a way of mounting a high power torch to above my scope.

I have a scope/torch mount but it's to low and I loose half the the throw of the lightby it being blocked by the Objective bell.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can mount the toche higher or further foward so I get the whole beam throw of my torch.

The torch is a Wolf Eyes 9A with a high output globe head in it.
It has a one inch body on the torch
I have been trying to work out a way of mounting 2 ring mounts back to back and have the scope in one and the torch in another but it's just not working

suggestions please

thanks

There are scope mounts that have rail mounts added to the top and sides so flashlights, lasers, ect. can be added right around the scope. I'm not sure if you would like the looks but most are tactical type mounts and can be found at the web sites for tactical scope equipment. Is this what you were asking about?

Try this site for starters;http://www.tacticalgears.com/scripts...?idCategory=47
Check the bottom left of the page.

OK

I'm back to square 1

The picatinny style rings wont work with the rifle in question.
A high power air rifle.

The Pic style rings are highly unlikely to survive the double recoil forces of the AG-
I also need the damping properties of the "Dampa mount" already fitted to help the scope survive on the AG as well.

So I have to find some way to either mount the light to the AG somewhere that it wont block most of the torches throw and it wont disturb the barrel vibrations (barrel mount is out).

Last resort---Have any of you ever hunted using a head torch?? I need a light throw of at least 50 m preferably 80m

Thanks

Buy two identical scope bases for something with a flat receiver top - like a Marlin lever action.

bolt the bases to each other, and mount rings to the bases.

Default The need for a special scope mount kinda limits it!

There is a light mount that looks just like one for a rifle barrel but meant for mounting a flashlight to a 1" scope tube. I don't know if this extra mass on the scope would mess up the action of the special mount. It's funny that the Crossman air rifle has a model with a special scope and flashlight mount but for the life of me I can't find the scope mount sold separately!

Default Another choice is something I saw on a preditor site.

I just didn't think this is what the fellow down under wanted though. It was a a high power light mounted on the scope tube and a 6 or 12 battery had to be carried along with it. It looked like it would blind everything it was aimed at for at least a mile! That thing is 400,000 candle power!

I believe it could be had with the red filter so it wouldn't mess up your night vision.

This looks exactly like the same set up that came with my Gamo Varmint rifle.
