Default Refinishing a CZ Stock

Any suggestions on removing the factory stain and finish on a CZ rimfire stock? Have not done anything to it yet. I have Citri-Strip, would guess it would work fine. Really would like to pull as much of the stain out as possible. I suspect it may be hiding some fair to middlin grain structure. This is a beech stock on a trainer. Thanks, guys.

Ramos, foxhunter soda blasted a 527 stock, go to the project gun thread and you will find a pic that he posted looks like it may be an option for you.

I saw that, looked nice! I have plenty of air but, no 'blasting' gear. Maybe furhunter will chime in and explain what it takes.

Don't know what foxhunter has for equipment but you might look for grit blasting/sand blasting equipment. Works similar, but you don't have to clean up the grit afterwards, just dissolve the soda and wash it away. Some aviation places use CO2 blasting for stripping paint for airplanes without damaging the fiberglass or aluminum. I know Harbor Freight does make some soda blast gear in several sizes, but not have looked at it live personally.
