Heavy .224 bullets?
Has anyone used these bullets for long range shooting/hunting(300-600+yds.)? Would a .220 Swift with a slow twist barrel be a good idea using the 70-90 g bullets?

Using a simple Greenhill calculator (based on length to diameter ratio) you would need a 1:7 to shoot the 90. A 1:8 for the 75 and 80. It is a bit more involved with the design of those bullets, but that should be a good starting reference.

I am shooting a 220 Swift AI with a 9 twist and have gone to 80 and still gotten good performance. 3550 fps with a 75 Amx really ruins a dogs day at 500 yards.

It won't work. I tried 69 gr. Sierra MK in a Ruger 22-250 and they tumbled.

no
For heavier bullets you need a FAST twist to stablize them

Fast or Faster
I shoot a 221 fireball T/C Contender with a 1 in 8 twist. At 2000 to 2200 FPS 80 grain VMax shoot just fine. The 75 V max maybe better but it is hard to tell. The V max also make really good varmint bullets too.
