Alright, here I am hanging on the side of a tree on the first day of Buck this year. Bored and cold would explain the "I gotta kill something" look on my face!

Default Field 'Selfies'

Well Doug, you're probably gonna get barraged with lots-o pics of old guys having fun in the field.

Here's my mug from last spring when the snow was still lingering in the rat patch:

Hard to crack a smile when it's blowin' and 33*F, but easier when there's copious quantities of rats scampering about and a Cooper 20VT on the bench.

There you are Rick, I'd recognize that shooting bench anywhere ! We been posting back and forth for years, nice to meet ya!! You sent me a picture of yourself as a pup once, like the dead bear shot, somewhere in the intervening 35 to 45 years we got old and wise....Ok so we just got old .
Great to finally meet you fellas. Let me introduce ya to Brother Larry from the Atlanta area. Rick this guy's been known to get that .20 VarTarg smile as well (he's suppressing it for the picture but before the camera came out it was ear to ear)!! I'd like to think that in some small way I assisted in his Descent into small caliber madness .
He sure didn't need any help in his taste for purty rifles that shoot real good I should add. Course the gunsmith makes the rifle purty, the shooter makes it shoot good. He's got both angles covered.

Keep em coming guys!!!

P.S.
Don't rub ole "MrMajestic" the wrong way, I think he means business (Wink-Wink)!! I wonder if he dined on deer liver that night???

The sidekicks take this thing to a whole new level don't they? Kinda make it all worthwhile. . Great picture.

Howdy Daryl! Ya look a bit different from the last time we met. I think it's the dead rodents clustered around ya, or all that hair .

Here I am, 2 springs ago, with one of my stalk-kill results.

That is my walkabout "Texas High standard" with Red dot scope, not as nice of a trigger as my fluted bull Supermatic Citation, but close enough

I hope to Heck Nor-Cal isn't that cold this spring Rick!

Really nice pictures, guys. Daryl, awesome "widows-peak" ya got there! I would post one of myself but, it would crash the whole interweb thing. Don't want that to happen, too many folks trying to get signed up for affordable health care right now!!!
