Default custom Ruger No.3 .223 - sweeeeet

Rifle has been SOLD , pending funds.... Iv'e decided to sell my custom No.3 so I can build another custom rifle. This rifle was built by Jim Brockman for Dave Talley's wife. (former owner and founder of Talley Mfg. - scope rings, etc...). Action was completely worked over, hand tuned, and refinished in matte blue. Kepplinger set-trigger installed and it feels as good as any of my Jewell triggers. 25 1/2" Lilja stainless steel match barrel that is 1.200" at the breach and tapers to .860" at the muzzle. Rifle has been fired less than 350 rds. and barely broken in. Beautiful peice of English Walnut furniture that has a satin finish. Custom Talley scope base and rings. Steel grip cap and fine line hand checkered pistol grip. Chambered to min. SAAMI to shoot factory .223 for those who do not handload. No stone was left unturned as this rifle has an interesting history, and was built by one of the top name gunsmiths. If your'e a Ruger No.1 / No.3 fan or love single shot falling block actions, this rifle is the real deal and a "jaw dropper". Rifle has been sitting in my safe for 2 years and is in 98+% condition.

rifle is SOLD pending funds

Priced at $1350.00 and I'll split s/h fees. This rifle built today would cost over $2K with a long wait. Just in time for the spring prairie dog season and priced in the same ball park as a Cooper. scope not included, more pics available. Perfect timing for those who just recv'd your income tax returns, hint, hint . email address for those interested ; 17ln(AT)bellsouth.net .... replace (AT) with @ ..

Default Very nice.

Blake,
The only thing I can say is that I am glad I shoot left handed, otherwise I would be in a little bit of trouble with my wife. (I am not really glad, I would love to have it).

ken,

for right now Cash $$$ trumps all other trades. I'll definitely email you back if I decided to entertain trade ideas. The new Rem 700 17 FB in VSF would definitely be a consideration.

thx for the interest as this rifle needs a new home so I can finish some custom projects going on.
