Rimfire Steve! Glad to see you're still around. Check your PM's.

That looks like some real nice stuff. Bet it's $$$.

Default Wow

I never thought I'd see Lapua .22-250 cases!! I always thought once they made the 6.5-47Lapua with such similar capacity there was no need or desire on there end to make a .22-250 case,I'm so glad they did though.I guess I'll never understand why and which cases get chosen, but I'm very happy to see a .22-250 from Lapua all we need now is the .221 Fireball
There is a certain stainless 40XB that will have to come out of the safe
and get shot by me for the first time with this new brass, once available.
Thanks Steve for this report, you've made my week!

Matt

Default Aussie availability of Lapua 22-250

For all the Aussies and Kiwis listening.

I just spoke to Andrew of Custer and he advised it'll be in Australia about April next year. He also advised they are going to produce 308 Palmer brass.

I look forward to it arriving.

Default availability of 22-250Lapua brass in NZ

I emailed Lapua re time of arrival in NZ, as soon as I saw the first post - no reply. I emailed the NZ importer at the same time - no reply. So, it might be a case of importing it from Oz to NZ when it gets to Oz in April. I still wonder about the measurements of this new brass. If anyone comes across a case or few, could you put a micrometer over the vital statistics and post here please.

John,
Andrew advises that it has not gone into production so I can only assume that Steve's rounds are special production runs. Like so many of these, I'd be careful basing any perditions from those initial run rounds.

Cheers
