Never heard of it, so I looked it up. Sounds like you just neck up a 30-30 or 32 Special case.

I just looked it up in cartridges of the world. It says that cases can be made from 38-55 cases. Don't know if its true or not. Sometimes buffalo arms has weird old cases like that. Might give them a try.

Ken,
Can you tell which 35-30? There are several called that. .35-30 Maynard 1865 is a lathe made option only. .35-30 Maynard 1873 is also a lathe made option only (both of the cases have extremely large rim diameters; .771" & .765" respectively). .35-30 Maynard 1882 can apparently be made by sleeving a 30-30 case body with 13/32" copper tubing. And finally, the .35/30-30 is made by taper expanding a .30-30 case and trimming to length and then fireforming to get the full shoulder/bodytaper correct. At least that's what my book says...

If you PM me you e-mail addy, I'll scan the pages with the case dimensions and send them to you, so you can compare the potential candidates...

Googled Rocky Mountain. Nothing there to help identify what the brass looks like.
Thanks.KB.
