Flat Stock
I am loking for a new stock. Either a laminate or a synthetic of good qualtiy. I am wanting a sporter weight or walking varminter weight stock. But I am looking for one with at least a slight flat forearm.
I would like to keep the weight down. And I prefer TH's. But will consider any stock recommendation. I think I am going to redo a 22-250 with a lighter barrel and a new stock. I already have a blue printed 700 short action. So I only need a stock and a barrel. I have been loking at alot of different stocks. But I would like to find one with some flatness to the forearm. is there a good one out there. This flat forearm is not for shooting off the bench. But for shooting from fixed position hunting. And it must be left handed!! Now there's a kicker!! Tom. |

I have a laminated thumbhole walnut stock from Scope us Out, ( Bill?). Nice stable stock but as you might expect a bit heavy. Lightwieght then I would look at McMillan.
