Thank you Bill Oviatt!!
I recently purchased a CZ Prestige in 22 Hornet from Bill.
When I went to my dealer to start the paperwork I discovered the beautiful stock had broken at the handle. Bill was very helpful in starting a claim with FedEx. I could tell he was extremely upset, as was I, at the loss of a superb stock. Anyhow I told him not to worry and it is what it is. No worries and I'll just wait for FedEx to settle the claim. I had even started to look at various stock options. Anyhow long story short, Bill decides my Prestige needed a Prestige stock and sent me one from his other rifle. Now this is a true gentleman. He could have easily just waited for FedEx to settle with me and washed his hands of the whole transaction since he wasn't the cause of the damage. But he is one of the good guys and I wanted to let everyone know that. Thanks again Bill! Bill

Well that's the definition of "Bittersweet".
Thanks for sharing. Bill sounds like one of a few. I won't hesitate doing business with a guy such as described. I'm glad it worked out

Yea Bill has helped me out a few times also. That is what makes this sight so special. Guys are always willing to help. And no matter how stupid the question is I never once got a remark that embarrassed me.

Bill has become ones of my favorites on this board. He & his sweet wife have also become some of my favorite people in life. I 'met' him on this board via a gun deal initially & we have been friends ever since including visiting each other on several occasions
I have lost track of the # of guns I have bought from him, with him & sold to Bill (probably a couple of dozen)...not to mention countless other items. NEVER A REGRET! Cheers,
