Doug seems to be getting back into the 22WMR thing in a serious way!
First a CZ, then the Lilja barrel. Followed by a wrestling match with a scammer.... Now the quest for a particular Marlin.... Hang on, Doug!!! Think you got the 'Cabin Fever' pretty bad this Winter. |

You tell em Cat, you tell em!!!
Ramos ya gotta remember my motto in life, "Anything Worth Doing Is Definitely Worth Overdoing "!!! Ask the little lady in my life she'll tell ya!...hmm??..uh...maybe asking her is not really such a good idea when I think about it .

The Marlins, if holding quality from the 80's, are VERY accurate rifles. I had one in the late 80's, a light barrel, magazine fed model in .22 mag., that would group the old Winchester 40gr. HP's into 1/2" at 100 meters with astounding regularity. I do not believe it EVER shot a group over 1", but with wind, sometimes they'd run out to that limit.

Always wondered how a 17HMR would be in a 57M. Just have not gotten there yet; but the concept lingers.
