Default Rebated BT 17 cal bullet question

I've been using Kenders 25g bt, in my 17 Rem CZ527, since he's no longer making them, picked some Reeds .17 Cal Bullets 26g Soft-Point RBBT VLD. Plan on starting to work up a load with this bullet and wondered if being rebated changed anything or just work up a load like you would with any other bullet?

I have never used a small cal rebated boat tail, however I have used Chinchaga Bullets that are rebated (in 25 and 30 cal)and have just done normal load work up with no issue

Changing bullet weight, manufacturers and possibly jacket configuration all call for starting new load development. You may save some time using an established bullet jump and shoot a ladder test with proven powder since the bullet weight is close. When I switch bullets I clean the barrel. Good luck those 17 caliber soft points, they keep catching my eye but I have not tried them.

I've used a .17 RBBT from Blackhole Bullets. They were plenty accurate and I didn't notice anything different than a berger BT.
