Question Volquartsen 17HMR--Information--Comments

I'm thinking about purchasing a Volquartsen SF-1 with snake flutes, a Hogue stock, and in 17HMR. Does anyone know about the accuracy & function of this gun?

I have a wood stock Sako Quad Varmint in 17HMR with a 12oz trigger and it's awesome but my wife wants one to shoot also and I thought that VQ looks really nice. I've never owned a VQ much less in 17HMR so I thought I'd ask opinions.

Thanks,
Jim D---

Can't say for the HMR however I have a Volquartsen bolt and barrel on my 10/22 in .22LR and I am able to hit staples at 50 yards dang near every time. I don't bother hanging targets and pick out remaining staples on the backstop. Should really bait flys/wasps with something on a white peice of paper for a photo op!
