I have not, but that would be all well and good, if only some HM2 ammo would show on the shelves. None has, in my area, for over 6 months. Bill K

I was thinking that if the faster selling ammo was now finally getting stocked (or over stocked) then maybe the HM2 ammo would start showing up again.

I'm personally setting good right now with HM2 ammo and one more auto loader in the HM2 sounds appealing to me.

So far my A17 HMR is doing better than I anticipated.

Ammo was released a couple of weeks ago and has sold out on most online sites. KYGunCo had it for $7.99 a box. Time to start checking your local box stores.

When Ruger fixes the 10-22 to be able to shot 17HM2 then and only then will the ammo be readily available...since that isn't going to happen.

Mine is a single shot, might fire 10 a year thru it.
Showing folks, or killing stray cats in the yard is all I use it for.
Had a dozen or so boxes, looks like 4-6 are missing. Still have 5 though so
at this rate I'll have enough for my needs.

IF they'd get the supplies back out there and prices where it's affordable
I'd like to take it for close up p/dogs along with the VR's and VT. Sure need to empty some of these cases.

well since there isn't any word of an A17 HM2 in the near future looks like I might be buying a nice Ruger mk2 pistol and send it to Adam to be converted to a 17 HM2.

I really like my cz 512, 22 mag but am in the process of getting the A22 mag. And I'm really not a RF type of guy but they do serve a purpose.

Had a little issue with a brand new TC R55 17 HM2 last week. May have been partially my fault?? Time will tell

Default email sent

Gary, sent you an email but don't know if old address is right. Asking who Adam is you mentioned sending Ruger to for 17 HM2 conversion. Had someone asking me but I do not do work for public. Pray all is well with you and yours. Bless You Sir. FB
Sir, I check all HMR and HM2 ammo for split necks before loading in any gun. It is quick and easy just push bullet point firmly against something hard. Bullet will go into case if neck is split, I set split case ammo aside and pull bullets later for reloads. Lose 10 to 20 % of old Eley as much as half or better with other brands. Even lose HMR ammo if few years old. Not a loss when I use bullets to load centerfire .
