Tikka deluxe
Appreciate all the comments, experiences, and thoughts.
I've had this rifle advertised in Canada for the last few days with an asking price of $1500 CDN., with 3 offers which are being considered. I'm not familiar with current values but since the Pandemic there has been a huge price increase of older rifles. I'm not a collector but have spent a lot of time admiring this piece with a soft cloth and furniture polish. So well balanced and assembled. It's amazing to own a rifle that was manufactured 1968-69 Best of all it's in my favorite 17REM caliber with detachable magazine that snaps into place. The trigger is better then most factory triggers. I own a CZ 527 Kevlar 17REM that is my go-to calling and walking coyote rifle. No high volume shooting with this baby. Loaded @ 4150 fps with 25gr. Berger Target bullets It wears a VORTEX 2.5-10 PST FFP (love the scope/lightweight & clear) I only did 5 shots this past season, no practice shots, 4 one shot dead coyotes and one miss (my fault). I'm not anxious to sell this TIKKA DELUXE but don't need another 17REM is the only reason for selling. Best of health and happiness to everyone and good shooting ! ALBERTA "AL" |
