I am interested to hear if there has been any 22 wildcats made from the 30-30 case ?
Dozens, both full length and shortened different amounts, going back into the 1920's and 30's.

Not even close. Here is a good place to compare catridge dimensions.

Default 30-30 wildcats

Lowey,
I shoot several 30-30 based wildcats in my Ruger #1's and #3's as well as TC's. The rim of 30-30 brass is .506 dia.

.204 Wasp, .219 Wasp, .219 DW PDK, .224 BRM, 6.5 Bullberry Imp., .30 Herrett

The .204 Wasp and .219 DW PDK are my own wildcats.
The .219 Wasp been around for many years.
The .224 BRM is EABCO's design and their chamber is to long to use 30-30 brass, so I necked down 38-55 brass.
I shoot the 6.5 and .30 in TC barrels in IHMSA steel silhouette.

As far as brass goes, most makes of .30/30 brass has a large variation in weight. If you can find .225 Winchester brass, it might be better - or perhaps .375 Winchester brass - not only better quality control in the .375 stuff, but heavier walled in the head area as well.

As to the comparrison on rim size to the .30Carbine case? Not even close. Now, a standard bolt face ie: .22-250, .243, .308, .30/06, etc, isn't far off, at .473" compared to .506" therefore a .30/30 rim can easily be turned down to fit the standard bolt, but the .30 Carbine has a tiny little rim of .352" to 354" in comparrison to .506" of the .30/30. I've used Carbine brass, cleaned, annealed and poured with lead & formed, for .358" rifle bullets & they worked very well indeed. There is a .22 and a .17 on the Carbine case - normally called the PeeWees. Foxhunter has one or two in .17 cal. The necked down carbine case has about the same capacity as the Ackley Bee case, but the smaller rim. The Bee's rim is .408".
