Default Sightron big sky

Does anyone have any experience with this scope SIGHTRON BIG SKY SII 6.5-20X50mm. I just saw an article on it in VHA and I like the retitcle as opposed to a MILDOT, I've never looked through a SIGHTRON, are they nice scopes?

Excellent scopes for the money. I have a SII Big Sky fixed 12X with 42MM AO lens I bought new in 2009. It is mounted on my Savage Model 12 with Shilen barrel in 20 VarTarg built by Sharp Shooter Supply (Fred Moreo). It's a match winner!!

Default Sightron

Have this scope on my Stiller 20-222. I have the fine dot reticle as opposed to the MOA-2 reticle you read about. Edge to edge clarity is outstanding. Like the side focus, tracks very well, nothing I don't like. I bet you would be pleased.

It's a very good value for the money. I had a fixed 36x power model. Its glass was better than a Weaver T-36 I had, and it was a little better than an older Leupold 36x fixed I had as well in terms of brightness. Clarity was on same level.

I believe you would be satisfied.

Default I have

Bigsky S11`s in 3.5-10x42,3-12x42x2, and 4.5-14x50.
And S111`s in 6-24x50 and 8-32x56.

In my opinion they represent great value for money and suit my type of shooting way better than the Leuplods they replaced.

ps if you buy it and don`t like it I will take it of you in a heart beat.

Default Moa-2

The MOA-2 has a dot correct? does anyone konw how much it covers at 100 yards? As a varmint scope I can't believe it would be 2 inches.

Default I Have A Big Sky...

I used to be a big Burris fan, but after their change of ownership and moving of production outside of the U.S., I was talked into taking a look at Sightron. I bought a Big Sky, and waited for it to arrive. I was fully impressed. The smoothness of the controls, and the optical clarity are awesome. I will definitely consider Sightron for my next purchase...
