That donut item, placed over the barrel ? Moved up or down too see if it aided in accuracy. I tried one and did so on a couple of my barrels. For the life of me, I could see no difference. So took it off and if I could find it, you could have it too try. Will let you know if I do locate it in one of my drawers, etc. Bill K

After wasting a ton of ammo and changing the scope 3 times on my Savage B Mag 22 WMR and Bedding still getting 3-5 inch groups at 50 yds Figured the only thing left is the barrel Harminics I bought one of those Dampeners I moved it a 1/2" at a time from the end of the stock to the tip of the Barrel never got less then a 2" group at 50 yrds sold the rifle gave the guy the dampener with full disclosure on the accuracy and vowed to never buy a rifle with a thin barrel again

I've tried them on a couple different rifles, can't say the rifle shot better except the groups were more round. This did make it easier to adjust center of group to point of aim.

Didn't make any difference on a straight pipe center fire barrel. Someone wanted to try it so I sent it to him and told him NOT to send it back.
The bullets were all going in the same hole so why bother. |

Hmm, maybe that's what this thing is I keep
refinding in the loading room. No doubt IF I go in there looking it'll be hiding forever though. Never fails it seems. Collection of dark metalic items held together with a spring or rubber band maybe. Might be 1 1/2" long or 2". Will expand the bore dia. Anyone have a picture handy? Rider: IF that's what this thing is, you can have it to try.
