Heavy .17 cal bullets
I've been away for awhile from the shooting world.
Is it true Todd Kindler no longer making bullets? I am looking for 30-32gr heavy jacketed bullets for coyotes and Bobcats. What is everyone doing for that niche market? Bob

Todd sold his .17 bullet making dies to a guy. Than a guy named Montana something from Texas bought the dies and started making bullets.
Montana made and sold bullets for awhile. Tha run into deliver trouble. Chan Nagle makes a .30 bullet that people reported working good for fur. Hal Last edited by Hal; 10-24-2021 at 10:14 PM. |

I have 25 gr Nagle bullets from 10 years ago. They seem to be of high quality and group well for me. I will check out his website.
Thank you, BHB

I don't think he has a web site. People just call him.

Check out either Badger Bob's bullets or Hammer's, believe both have some you may like or are looking for.

Hammer bullets only go up to 21 grn in .17.
Maybe they could make some heavier ones if you called them. Hal |

D.L.Unmussig
I use Don Unmussig bullets. He offers .17 caliber bullets 30 grain with either a flat base or boat tail. Not sure if he offers anything heavier.
You have to call to order. You may have to leave a message but he will call you back. D.L. Unmussig bullets (804)320-1165 |

Was not sure on Bob. I know I use some 20's, of his. And Varmint Shooter reminded me of Black Hole Bullets, do have some of his also. All worked well, sure to explode varmints.
Lately I have been using more of Hammer's, due to the lead free state I am in. They are working well also. |
