Winchester (firearms, not powder and ammunition) was bought (6-8 years ago) by FN (who also owns Browning) and was relocated to South Carolina. Before FN, U.S. Repeating Arms owned the Winchester name. FN is making the Model 70 and some of the other models in SC.
