I was getting impatient there for a bit. But you guys were definately right, This is some beautiful work. I will have to post a pic. 22"full bull in bead blasted ss, matches the encore frame perfectly, and the wood is beautiful, light walnut monte carlo with a 2" wide target fore end. I will try to post a pic here soon. if it shoots half as good as it looks I will be thrilled to death. |

It's a 17 Mach IV, forgot that lil tid bit of info. Now its time for some loading, playing with my seating depth, what have you had you'r best results with? just touching the rifling or off .010 or so? I am loading up some stark RPVB's but after the pic I just saw on the ggvg forum I am not sure I want to hit foxes with them . I am looking for a good fox bullet , with no furr damage. I have the 20 gr v-maxes and 25 gr hornady hp's already. SEE YA |

they will do great for foxes, 95% of the time no exit.
Shot placement is the key if you do not want to track them JD |

I shot a fox with the .17 remington and the 25 grain Starke and had no exit wound. This was at 4000 fps and about 90 yards away. Fox dropped, never flinched and the entrance wound was hard to find as well. I had an exit wound on a large ground hog with the same gun/load and the hog was hit just behind the shoulder - center mass. |
